Google pulled the plug the last time the update was released due to 'an issue' but this time it will definitely be released. Gingerbread will bring a noticeable improvement on multimedia and 3D apps, the interface will run faster and the battery life will apparently last longer. It will be available over the Kies Software.Samsung Galaxy S II owners will have the gingerbread update pre-installed.
